El detective Mike Hammer recoge en la carretera, en plena noche, a una muchacha que huye de un peligro mortal. Poco después son interceptados por los acosadores, unos despiadados matones que, tras torturar y matar a la muchacha y pegar una paliza al duro detective, les arrojan por un precipicio. A very captivating film, which goes a bit against the mainstream right from the beginning, for example only with those peculiar subtitles, and also with the implied nudity under the woman's cloak that appears here. But it continues further, until the grand finale, when someone finally opens that box. It is a noir film, but at the same time, it is also a fantastical film. It is a harsh film and extremely cruel for its time, which is very refreshing.
