Keisuke KINOSHITA is one of the masters of Japanese film along with OZU, KUROSWA and NARUSSE. In commemoration of his centennial anniversary, this film focuses on unknown stories of his life; what happened between KINOSHITA and his mother, and why did he quit being a film director once? Keiichi HARA, a director who is well known of quality animation films, pays respect to the Japanese great film director and sets out his debut in live-action film. (Shochiku)
