Edouard, hijo mayor del rey de los simios, no es como los demás: más pequeño, mucho menos peludo y con una de sus extremidades inutilizada. Pero estas rarezas, unidas a su ingenio, también pueden significar que es el primer eslabón en la evolución de la especie. Resulta increíblemente ingenioso, descubre el fuego, la caza, el hábitat moderno y el amor, e incluso la esperanza. Generoso, quiere compartirlo todo. The French have embarked on an animated film featuring monkeys, but right from the start, it's clear that they're meant to become human. And that's what the film is about. I wonder what the transition from one developmental stage to the next was like. It's pseudo-funny, pseudo-emotional, and overall, it doesn't impress, but it probably doesn't disgust either. The animation is quite good.
