Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo

I enjoyed it, the characters were properly wacky, and the idea of having one of the seven witches appear in each new episode was very cool, because at least that way the series passed by pleasantly. No unnecessary dragging. Yusuke was appealing (and I don't particularly like him), Mariya was even prettier than in Switch Girl. I enjoyed the whole weird bunch. Plus, there really are more kisses than in any Japanese series all year. I haven't read the manga, so I'm not comparing. If you have read it, you’ll want to approach it without expectations, it could hardly do justice to everything you love about the manga in only 8 episodes. Unpretentious, entertaining, appealing, with a "magical rainbow" song at the end (=I really liked it, I always sang along). A strong 3 stars. (01.10.2013)
