I was probably most impressed by the story with the ventriloquist puppet, which is a bit tired now but could have had the right effect in its time. I think the creators knew well why they put it at the end. It really stands out there. It's like a cherry on an otherwise not very tasty cake, which is not offensive, but also doesn't have much to excite. "Ghosts of the Night" remain just one of many for me.
