Sinopsis(1)

A docureality film about nine television matadors who come together determined to, one last time, broadcast a television show in the way it used to be done during their era – the early days of television. Their story is told in a "making-of" format, a film about a film that captures the older generation's relationship to the television medium. The film shows the way television is made by presenting real people who have dedicated a large portion of their lives to television. We thus get the chance to meet these legends of the TV screen through their personalities, philosophy, and their complicated relationships. (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)

inglés This was probably the most pleasant documentary of this year's Jihlava festival. After the screening, someone in the audience accused the director of making fun of old people. Bullshit. Anyone who has, or has had, grandparents of a similar age knows that senility combined with vanity is deadly, and not once are old people pushed into escalated situations. All the fun situations stem from the fact that technology and the speed of information dissemination are completely different in 40 years. It couldn't be kinder. 4 ½. ()
