Sinopsis(1)
Todd Burpo es un pequeño empresario, bombero voluntario, pastor, y padre de familia que intenta llegar a fin de mes en lo que ha sido un año duro. Tras tener que someterse Colton, el inteligente hijo menor de la familia, a una cirugía de emergencia en el hospital, sus padres, Todd y Sonja están locos de contentos por el milagro de su recuperación. Pero no están preparados para lo que ocurre a continuación - Colton empieza a hablarles con total naturalidad y seguridad sobre su asombroso viaje de ida y vuelta al cielo. Cuando Colton inocentemente le cuenta a sus padres detalles de cosas que es imposible que pueda saber, Todd se topa con un muro de misterios y dudas hasta que lo derrumba y halla esperanza, el asombro, y la fuerza del propósito. I am not a religious person and I don't understand why this is such a big story. Yes, there are moments when it really seems like the boy knows something more than he should know. On the other hand, it's a testimony of the movie and the testimony of the little boy's father. Even though it's based on a true event, I am too much of a skeptic to be impressed by this. The performances are fine, the boy is great, and I simply like Greg, but the movie didn't catch me in any way. Just another great film for believing brothers and sisters.
