Forest Whitaker delivers another one of his excellent performances, which is undoubtedly the highlight of this film, which is a remake of an older French work. It is well executed, but it progresses towards its goal in a way that is too straightforward and too obvious. Suddenly, it loses its sensitivity, and what is developed becomes nothing more than a game. In the end, it felt too disconnected from reality and too centered around the actor.
