Sinopsis(1)

inglés Thanks to the ninth episode, I finally found out what the talk about the Sioux Falls massacre was all about that I've been hearing throughout the entire first season. This was a great episode with an excellent atmosphere, full of brutal action, tension, and interesting development. I know I'm repeating myself over and over again, but what can I do? I saw it there. I only have one objection - aliens? Why? I'm more than satisfied with the Blumquists. ()

Palíndromo (2015) (S02E10)

inglés The final episode, while successful for the creators, I only rate it four stars. After the previous two episodes, I was so spoiled that this time the pace of the story seemed too slow to me. Nevertheless, it was a quality and dignified conclusion to the second season. I enjoyed the reward for Mike Milligan and the first encounter with Mr. Wrench and Numbers. ()

Season 3 (2017) (S03)

inglés Season 3 brought excellent characters played by David Thewlis, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Goran Bogdan as well as a well-developed story, but the finale was a little underwhelming. The final episodes of both previous seasons left a much deeper impression on me. Then again, I appreciate the return of Mr. Wrench. I consider Season 3 to be the weakest one, it seemed to be based too much on the first season, sometimes to the point of copying it. But despite all my reservations, I did like it and had fun. ()

Principio de espacios vacíos (2017) (S03E01)

inglés I had to give five stars to the first part of the third season because it immediately drew me into the plot and I happily discovered that the storyline is once again made up of a mixture of coincidences and ubiquitous stupidity. Moreover, Mary Elizabeth Winstead is in it, and that couldn't make me happier. ()

Principio de elección restringida (2017) (S03E02)

inglés This time, although the episode wasn't packed with events, so the pace was slower, it doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy it. On the contrary. V. M. Varga is a mysterious guy and David Thewlis gave him a substantial dose of slimy repulsiveness, I hope his teeth won't cause me nightmares. The donkey was flawless. ()

La aritmética de salvarse por los pelos (2017) (S03E04)

inglés Excellent music and the second great plan of the duo Nikki/Ray. The latter didn't even have to taste ashes for me to understand who the brain and who the muscle is in this pair. Compared to the previous part, a pleasant change, I enjoyed myself and wasn't bored. ()

La casa del propósito especial (2017) (S03E05)

inglés Nikki and Ray came up with another "perfect" plan, it was even "better" than the previous one. Sy experienced many new things and the plot was very entertaining for me. V. M. Varga is crazy to the core and his henchman philosophizes interestingly. Who would have thought? I just somehow didn't understand the ending, I was expecting a more definitive solution after all. ()

El señor inmisericorde (2017) (S03E06)

inglés This time I have witnessed a very high-quality episode. The plot gains momentum on all fronts and everything is heading faster and faster towards the expected conclusion. And although it is absolutely clear that Fargo will be concluded with a traditional bloody massacre, I am looking forward to seeing how exactly the creators have resolved it, like a little child. ()

Aporía (2017) (S03E09)

inglés And again there's a slowdown, it's such a sine wave, when only high-quality and excellent parts alternate, so I expect the final part to be outstanding. I would be deeply disappointed if it wasn't. ()

Alguien a quien amar (2017) (S03E10)

inglés Hmm, so I was looking forward to it too much. The final episode wasn't as daring as I expected. The creators played it too safe this time, and I was too spoiled from previous seasons, so I feel a slight disappointment. Additionally, the ending didn't please me much, as it fizzled out into nothing, so I couldn't add the fifth star. ()

Season 4 (2020) (S04)

inglés I'm severely disappointed by this season. For me, Fargo is a series in which graphic violence alternates with black humor, and I also expect suspense and great atmosphere. The 50s atmosphere was decent, but I didn't feel any suspense, this season was surprisingly stingy with the violence and there was so little humor that I almost didn't notice any. I don't need to be lectured on how the only true "Americans" treat everyone else, so I wasn’t too big on the constant BLM propaganda either. ()

Bienvenidos a la economía alternativa (2020) (S04E01)

inglés Well, it seems not even the series I was eagerly anticipating for its continuation has avoided succumbing to the current trend of pandering to BLM, cleverly cloaking it in a 1950s ambiance. ()

La tierra del pillaje y la matanza (2020) (S04E02)

inglés So far, I haven't seen anything that even comes close to the quality of previous seasons. It feels like the creators were so caught up in addressing racial issues that they neglected the traditional dark humor and action-packed chaos that made the show so distinctive. ()

Raddoppiarlo (2020) (S04E03)

inglés While the Mormon persecutor chasing escaped prisoners brought back the quirky vibes of previous seasons, Gaetano Salvatore Espozita dragged it down with his expression straight out of a silent movie. With his semi-crazy look and rolling eyes, he could easily fit into that era. ()

Jugar a la guerra (2020) (S04E04)

inglés This was a pleasant surprise for me. The episode had shades of the captivating storytelling that hooked me in previous seasons, though it didn't quite reach those heights yet. However, Gaetano's character still feels a bit like a caricature to me, stuck somewhere between a mafia wannabe and Uncle Fester, and I doubt it'll change. ()

La cuna de la civilización (2020) (S04E05)

inglés Just when I thought we were on the right track after the last episode, we're back to just three measly stars. The creators dedicated a lot of screen time to a character I could've done without, making me consider rating it even lower. However, the storyline involving the lesbian duo saved the day. 3*- ()

Camp Elegance (2020) (S04E06)

inglés I feel betrayed. I eagerly anticipated a return to the essence of what makes Fargo unique, but alas, it turned out to be a clever ruse. While I got lectured a lot on racial discrimination, I was missing a captivating plot, atmosphere, and suspense. ()

Reservado (2020) (S04E07)

inglés The seventh episode didn't quite leave a lasting impression on me. While there were a few intriguing moments scattered throughout, overall, it felt pretty average. That said, it didn't annoy me either, so I guess it's good enough for three stars. Still, by Fargo standards, it falls a bit short. ()

El punto más bajo (2020) (S04E08)

inglés The eighth episode had its moments, and under different circumstances, I might have even called it one of the better ones. But then came the two shootouts... The one with the Italians was downright silly (submachine guns against pistols/revolvers in an open space), and the train station scene might have been intriguing if I hadn't been distracted by Otis's struggles to get out of the car instead. ()

Este/Oeste (2020) (S04E09)

inglés There's no doubt that this episode had artistic value. I can tell because it was black and white. However, once I peeled back the artistic layers, the story didn't do much for me. Sure, the events at the guesthouse provided some entertainment, but they seemed disconnected from the season's overarching narrative. It felt like a detour from the main plot. And the tornado? Oh well... ()
