Prisoners (2016) (S02E16)

inglés The sixteenth episode actually didn't have anything to entertain me because I had already seen it several times. As an example, I mention two classics - The Shawshank Redemption and Criminal. The only interesting plot came from Oswald's new residence, otherwise nothing really happened. ()

Into the Woods (2016) (S02E17)

inglés After the previous episode, I had strong concerns, but fortunately they were unfounded. The creators returned to the proven storytelling, bringing back the atmosphere as well. Edward Nygma played his part beautifully, and Oswald returned to being the Penguin, so I'm happy and enjoyed it. ()

Pinewood (2016) (S02E18)

inglés The eighteenth episode was full of returns. Characters returned from the institution, from the afterlife, or just into action, and I felt like a worker at a recycling plant. As I have already written once, James Frain doesn't bother me, but his Galavan really annoys me, no matter what he calls himself, and now the creators have brought him back into the game again. They didn't please me. I was surprised that I wasn't pleased even with the first action of Mr. Freeze, Victor Fries seemed more interesting to me. The only real positive of this episode was the investigation at Pinewood Farm, it reminded me of my favorite game series, Resident Evil. ()

Azrael (2016) (S02E19)

inglés There has been an improvement compared to the previous installment, but unlike Edward Nygma, I really don't enjoy the character Azrael, so I hope that Penguin will finally dig himself out of the family tomb and for now, I am entertained by Miss Peabody's enthusiasm for Thorazine. ()

Unleashed (2016) (S02E20)

inglés This time I was quite satisfied. Finally, the story focused more on the Indian Hill facility and its interesting inhabitants, even though Azrael tried to delay it as much as possible. Additionally, Penguin finally got exposed at night, so I can look forward to the next episodes. ()

Season 3 (2016) (S03)

inglés The characters I liked the most this season were Penguin, Riddler, Ivy Pepper, and surprisingly Barbara who had been getting on my nerves for two seasons. The romantic/irritating duo of Jim Gordon/Leslie Thompkins, on the other hand, truly managed to bum me out. I liked all those sketchy characters that have emerged in Gotham, and I liked the gradual transformation of the existing characters into future guardians of the city. What disappointed me was the absolutely lackluster Court of Owls and the constant efforts to build up suspense by putting in danger the characters who couldn’t possibly come to any substantial harm. ()

Mad City: Better to Reign in Hell... (2016) (S03E01)

inglés From the first episode of the third season, I expected a bigger punch, the conclusion of the previous season definitely hinted at it. The typical Gotham atmosphere remained, but the first episode somehow lacked energy. But not to be too critical, The Penguin was excellent and, to my immense surprise, I even enjoyed Barbara, who got on my nerves for two seasons. ()

Mad City: Burn the Witch (2016) (S03E02)

inglés The third season of Gotham hasn't really convinced me yet. Compared to the previous seasons, the plot seems quite slow, and even though I understand that movies and TV shows based on comics should be taken with a grain of salt, I'm bothered by the completely illogical actions of some characters. Until this season, I had nothing against Fish Mooney, but now she's starting to annoy me. I've been thinking for a long time who she reminds me of now, and it occurred to me that if they gave her a helmet, she would look like a shrunken Magneto. The flowing cape, the way she walks, surrounded by evil mutants... And as if that weren't enough, the creators apparently decided to incorporate soap opera elements into the storyline, otherwise I can't explain that cheap ending. ()

Mad City: Look Into My Eyes (2016) (S03E03)

inglés There was a significant improvement compared to the previous episode, but there were still quite a few shortcomings. No one has mentioned yet that Jim has a titanium skull, otherwise, I don't understand how he could have stayed conscious after that home run hit. Jim Gordon is also involved in another matter, I haven't seen a stranger rescue of a person hanging over a precipice yet. The conclusion of this action was especially entertaining. On the other hand, Penguin's arrival for Nygma was absolutely perfect. ()

Mad City: Anything for You (2016) (S03E05)

inglés This was the Gotham that I like. I have long built a relationship full of enthusiasm with Penguin and Nygma, but I have to highlight Barbara's character for the second time. In the third season, she is becoming one of my favorite characters, and in previous seasons, I couldn't even look at her without getting nervous. ()

Mad City: Follow the White Rabbit (2016) (S03E06)

inglés No, that was a tough drop after the previous episode. Sofi's Choice was a good movie, but watching this decision over and over again in one episode was quite annoying. This episode strongly reminded me of some bad Saw movie. As for The Penguin, I'd rather not even talk about it, but I bet Honza Musil has a big smile on his face. ()

Mad City: The Executioner (2016) (S03E09)

inglés Just like the previous episode, the ninth episode was not bad. Captain Burnes' transformation continued, Nygma became a part of the mayor's portrait (cool), but this time I was mostly entertained by Ivy Pepper, who, among other abilities, has a tremendous talent for business. Chelsea Spack clearly got the ungrateful role of Corporal 13 in the series. ()

Mad City: Time Bomb (2016) (S03E10)

inglés After some time, the creators managed to make an episode that I enjoyed a lot, I finally learned something new, I also saw the execution of the hand in the French way and Dimitri, who came from an unknown part of Russia to me, where the sunlight is particularly intense. ()

Mad City: Ghosts (2017) (S03E12)

inglés Uff, that was disappointing. The twelfth episode was completely unnecessary, and on top of that, it killed off one of my favorite characters, Victor Zsazse. Because when a feared professional assassin can't hit a target from ten meters away, even though he's using a sniper rifle, it gives me the impression that he's pointless. Although I usually don't comment on other users' opinions, this time I have to agree with Lee's opinion, as written by NiaWolf. ()

Mad City: Smile Like You Mean It (2017) (S03E13)

inglés Even though I quite enjoy the storyline involving Penguin, Nygma, Barbara, and the others, I found Jerome's cult very uninteresting. Jerome himself intrigued me at one point, but another character coming back to life is just really annoying. ()

Mad City: The Gentle Art of Making Enemies (2017) (S03E14)

inglés The fourteenth episode brought some improvements, Bruce clearly set the course for Batman with this piece, Nygma decisively ended an unhappy gay romance, and I also enjoyed the conversations between the returnee Jerome and everyone else. The creators also offered several funny moments: in a city without electricity, landline phones are still working, Jerome's shrapnel was able to hit a pole from all sides. Very funny! ()

Heroes Rise: How the Riddler Got His Name (2017) (S03E15)

inglés Hmm, the fifteenth episode was basically boring, with the Riddler it was like a rollercoaster, but the biggest problem I see is how the creators are unsuccessfully trying to create tension, even though it's clear to everyone that all the main characters are completely safe. I would dare to make a guess on the spot that Bruce Wayne will easily reach at least his forties and spend most of his life in some dark costume. But of course, that was just my estimation, what do I know. On the other hand, I really laughed from the bottom of my heart at the rescue of Acting Captain Bullock, these nonsense things must appeal to the creators because they keep repeating them in different variations. ()

Heroes Rise: These Delicate and Dark Obsessions (2017) (S03E16)

inglés There are two possibilities here, either I am too demanding, or the creators have trouble coming up with something new. I feel like some things keep repeating over and over again. Currently, I enjoy the characters of Barbara and Ivy, the Penguin has become an annoying character, and Jim is just boring by constantly falling into every trap only to miraculously get out of it afterwards. It's just not the same anymore. ()

Heroes Rise: The Primal Riddle (2017) (S03E17)

inglés I had almost lost hope that I would see a quality episode in this series, but the opposite was true. This time, I had a great time, unlike Ben McKenzie, who was clearly bored. Riddler was once again great, Penguin's recruitment brought the promise of interesting episodes, and Selina was pushed in the right direction, so I can only hope that the creators won't ruin everything. ()

Heroes Rise: Light the Wick (2017) (S03E18)

inglés The eighteenth episode didn't really appeal to me, the plot was fragmented into too many storylines, and as a result, the story didn't move forward much. Additionally, most of the characters behave according to a certain template, so the viewer already knows in advance how each character will act and there is no tension. The only character that stands out from this description is Ivy Pepper, which is why she's the only one I really enjoyed. ()
