Sinopsis(1)

László is a composer, and his second wife is an actress. The couple lives in love and cheerful, mutual understanding. Suddenly László feels unwell. The diagnosis is that he suffers from an incurable illness. Whether the sick man should be told the truth is a grave question for both the first and the present wife and his friends. His nephew decides the issue: he discloses the secret for money. László withdraws into a house in the forest, then escapes to his first wife and the examination repeated by another professor upon her advice. The lies pay off, László's relish for life returns, and in spite of his frequent fits of indisposition he continues to work feverishly. Quite until his death. (texto oficial de la distribuidora)
