Durante el traslado de una prisión a otra el criminal Carella aprovechará una ocasión para iniciar la fuga, lo que casi obliga a su compañero, Paul Brandon, al que está esposado, a seguirle en su huida. Con la colaboración de Laura, la chica que les ayudó a escapar, preparan a posteriori dar el golpe en un Casino controlado por la mafia. Honestly, I think The Specialists is an overrated film. I like it when a genre film is set in at least partially believable circumstances, but the screenwriter not only gave up on believability, but also on basic logic, and the plot unfolds through a series of completely improbable coincidences and failures. Supposedly planned escapes end in desperate attempts not to fall into the abyss, a pair of robbers purely by chance stumbles upon an abandoned farmhouse during their escape, which purely by chance is inhabited by the only beautiful girl who is purely by chance ready to help them in their escape, etc. From my point of view, it is just a decent average in its genre with enjoyable performances by the main trio. Overall impression: 60%.
