Spring of the year 1945. Having been just released from German concentration camp, Sasha returns to her homeland. The war deprived the girl from her parents, so she is headed for her native village in the hope of finding her aunt. But it so happens that her last hope to find a loved one has floated. Despite that fact, acquaintance with the village people, her sudden love for a local forester and a pleasure of being helpful return the girl her lust for life. (Moscow International Film Festival)
