As expected, the movie stands or falls with Rhys Ifans. He portrays an honestly tired music producer who would most of all love to return to vinyl records if he could and who would make the sign of the cross anytime anybody mentions the word “mp3”. This movie is definitely intended for lovers of old technology who are no strangers to the Walkman or even a CD player. Today’s kids will probably have a hard time trying to understand Len’s way of thinking, so I don’t kow whether they will get the entire film. Three stars are about right as this is not a great drama, but rather a chill dramedy with several moments that will make you chuckle.
