inglés Hell on earth, or the mechanisms of normalization exposed to the very fringe of embarrassment, lack of art and ideological ballast, the awkwardness of which, thanks to the absence of essential enthusiasm, does not match the cinematography of the 1950s. Trapl apparently forgot that he is not directing a radio play - unfortunately, the actors can be seen most of the time. Absolutely bizarre are the lyrical insertions, which obscure detailed shots of puddles, graves of Red Army soldiers, roses and the hellish Schwarzkopf lecture by Jiřina Petrovická. I would not hesitate to call what is happening on the ideological level a carousel for the mentally retarded. The legitimization of August 1968 in the image of a sociological sample of the bottom, which abuses the so-called "freedom" to lynch conscious comrades and erase one's own sins from the 1950s, takes place on such an idiotic level that even a contemporary spectator must have felt offended. The sad fact that the normalization ideology completely lacked a seductive utopian moment and was based on genuine falsification comes to the surface in this film with all the relevant monstrosity. Nevertheless, if we don’t take into account today's prejudices and watch the film as the work of a naive idiot who wanted to create something like satire and social drama, then it is one of the most entertaining films in the history of film. inglés Another agitprop beauty from the 1970s that’s a parody of history and it’s unrealistically put together. You have to acknowledge that the film achieves its goal and that it’s watchable, because the curiosity over the “humane and soulful” outcome gradually becomes stronger than the aversion against it, but what prevails in the end is the aversion. Besides, if anything, Trapl’s incompetence as a director is quite funny. ()
