Robert Lafleur es el cómico Scaramouche, adorado por las damas y odiado y perseguido por los maridos y amantes de sus incontables conquistas. Scaramouche desconoce su origen, pero la cicatriz de su pecho hace que el conde de Suchill inicie el descubrimiento de su noble pasado. (RTVE)

A classic adventure-romance spectacle that certainly doesn’t offend anyone. It has perfect costumes and sets in general, very beautiful women, a sympathetic hero and a villain who looks like Radoslav Brzobohatý (he is charismatic to the point of woe). Then, of course, there are disguises, substitutions, all sorts of antics... Unfortunately, I didn't find the humor very humorous and most of all I liked the final sword fight, which was literally bloody.
