No significant improvement compared to the first movie really occurred. It's essentially in the same spirit, and the best thing about it is the fact that something different is happening here. Well, it's actually the same, but with a slightly different perspective. Simply time travel. This is something that fans of comedies can appreciate because it's so silly, it actually makes sense.
