Alex, Emily, and their son, RJ, are new to Los Angeles. A chance meeting at the park introduces them to the mysterious Kurt, Charlotte, and Max. Personally, I was waiting and ultimately hoping that it would be even more daring than it turned out to be, but still, this is a film that deserves at least a small round of applause because it does disrupt some taboos. However, in the end, it starts to resemble too much the Czech film "The Holy Quartet" and the conclusion is rather unsatisfying.
