En el budismo, se conoce como "trivisa" a los tres venenos que llevan al sufrimiento: el engaño, la avaricia y la ira. Tres conceptos que quedan representados en otros tantos criminales que operan en Hong Kong en 1997, justo antes de que la isla recupere su soberanía, y cuyas andanzas son seguidas en este thriller triangular, tan excitante como agudo en su comentario político. This is how the film should look like, which aims to faithfully capture the atmosphere of a certain period, but also wants to be an action film that is interesting for the audience. I won't claim that the time and the story completely captivated me, but the depiction in the movie was truly well done. In addition, the visual aspect is brilliantly mastered by the Chinese.
