Saverio Crispo, el gran actor de cine italiano al que el crítico Picci definió como un genio, murió hace diez años y sus cuatro hijas, de esposas de diferentes partes del mundo, se reúnen en la casa grande de la ciudad de Apulia, donde nació Crispo. The Italians came up with a great idea and wanted to base it on dialogue humor, like the French do best. Unfortunately, they did not succeed, and so this comedy oscillates between occasional funny moments and mostly cringiness and boredom.

If anybody gives this movie a bad rating the only reason I can think of is that he just doesn’t understand Italians. This movie is simply a proper Italian familia which is never boring and you won’t stop laughing. I’m glad that I got the chance to watch this comical movie at the Mittel Cinem Fest and could experience the whole movie theater laughing. At the beginning, the family relationships are very entangled, as is the life of the main characters, but slowly everything humorously unravels. Since I can’t give this slightly deranged comedy the full marks, I give it well-deserved 4*.
