Sinopsis(1)

On 5 September, 1977, two space probes were launched with a mission to explore the planets of our solar system as far as Neptune. However, the Voyager space program surpassed our expectations. The journey of both probes did not end at the edge of our solar system, therefore NASA officially declared in 2003 that for the first time in human history a human-constructed device had left our solar system. The probes were stable enough so that they could fly through the heliosphere into intersolar space. Vivid commentary by Kris Holden-Ried leads the audience through a space exhibition created by a combination of authentic pictures taken by probes and striking visual effects. The backbone of the story is comprised not only of the diary records of both probes, but also important events which took place in the meantime on Earth. The perception of time on Earth and the passing of light years in the universe are linked together. Although the transmission of information from the probes has stopped, they still carry invaluable records with a message for other civilizations. (Academia Film Olomouc)
