inglés The swan song of student comedies, which became a popular sub-genre of Czech cinema in the 1930s. Advanced times inspired a shift to drama, and yet many popular archetypes were retained. The teaching staff is somewhat peculiar, as are the students. However, Jiří Vondrovič in the lead role did not impress me that much, unlike the mischievous R. A. Strejka. Hrušínský became the villain and Stella Májová stood out among the girls. But I have to let it go, because for such a common film to be forbidden for years, perhaps only because of a not-very-fresh film copy, it's disconcerting and creates a-historical gaps. ()
