Sinopsis(1)
Salt without soup looks critically to the (West) German social market economy and its facades. West Germany is a model state for many other countries in the world. In calm but intense images the film depicts the 'hidden' poverty in a country of abundance and the loss of solidarity in the present industrial society. Provoking and ironical stories give a fascinating view of the cracks under the surface. An animating journey, straight through the subterranean vaults of the West German consumption palace.
