A quiet story of a man waiting for a serious surgery. Learning that he might only have several months to live he sets out on a journey without destination, but with the „final deadline", which is October, 5. It is a story about searching for one´s place in the world, about how difficult it is to find home again. The hero´s journeys are a combination of escapes and the states of total calm, escapes from himself, from unbearable situations and weather, including getting money and everyday search for a place to sleep. They are his contact with people he meets and whom he tells about his journeys, an expression of his special way of connection with nature and animals. And last but not least is this film a story of a brother. (MFFK Febiofest)
