Unscrupulous Hackett secretly organizes a rash of cattle thefts so he can seize control of the Cattleman's Protective Association. His plan seems foolproof until Stony Brooke, Tucson Smith and Lullaby Joslin ride into town. They suspect that something is not quite right about the rampant rustling and vow to save the cash-strapped association.
