This football film chronicles the college career of a tough Italian kid (Ramon Novarro) who tries to use his prowess on the gridiron to become BMOC at Yale. It doesn't work, however, as he is passed over in the fraternity elections and shunned by the girl he tries to romance (Madge Evans). After four years of tough going and a significant personality change, things begin to look up for him, and he finishes his football career with a heroic flourish against Harvard.
