Lady Mae and Bishop have differing opinions on whether the First Lady should stay on at the church after the divorce. Bishop will give her the mansion and pay off the IRS himself, but she has to go after they announce the divorce to the congregation. Mae assures the stunned parishioners during the announcement that there are grand plans ahead for her final "A Day with Lady Mae" celebration, including Maxine Patterson as a headliner. This leaves Bishop worried his power at Calvary is in danger. Grace uses the Coralie Hunter murder trial -- a story Darius' newspaper is covering - as the first case for her legal defense fund. Rochelle meets with the Bishop to discuss cryptocurrencies to solve his IRS problem. Maxine brings her therapist friend Iyanla Vanzant to help with Charity. Zora is caught contacting Isaiah and Lady Mae puts her on further lockdown. As a result, Zora calls Kerissa to come home, but Jacob says no.
