A low-key and unusual slasher from Australia that's worth a watch. Scare Campaign is a popular Prank TV show that scares its victims, but one day they will pay the price. The film has some pretty fresh twists throughout, impresses with solid gore and thanks to the sweet 80 minute running time, it goes by pretty quickly, though at first I found the film boring. Story 5/10, Atmosphere 5/10, Gore 7/10, Visuals 6/10, Action 7/10, Suspense 6/10, Humor 3/10. Entertainment 6/10, Scares 0/10. 65%.

The film Scare Campaign has a escalating storyline, where gradually you really start to lose track of who's killing and if anyone's killing at all. The main reason is that the special effects here are very good. However, when the killing is real, you can pretty much tell because the special effects are taken to an even higher level of gore. The film delivers what it promises and may even surprise you with. It's not as clever as the authors would like, but it's certainly not stupid.
