inglés A sympathetic and relatively original combination of a road movie and a love story set in the reality of post-Soviet Russia of the '90s. Mika Kaurismäki knows how to create an atmosphere of shabby panel housing estates and desolate factory quarters and perfectly uses the mixture of roughness, vulgarity, and rootlessness of the inhabitants of the post-communist bloc. In addition, the central couple, who are searching for their path to each other, evoke sympathy and Irina Björklund could be part of the passionate dreams of many men. However, no beauty like this has ever gotten into my car. Kaurismäki doesn't make bad films and Honey Baby is no exception to that rule. Overall impression: 75%. ()
