Kovács Béla and Gizike are a happy, newly wed couple. Their honeymoon is made bitter by the parrot who keeps talking about the infidelity of the husband. The young wife calls for her mama in despair, who leaves Vác with her second daughter to come to the rescue of her eldest daughter and separate her from her untrue husband. Soon the father travels to Budapest with his youngest daughter. His plan is to set Gizike's marriage right in a very unusual way. He goes to a night club with the intention of seducing his son-in-law's former mistress, Elly, standing in the background of the scandal. Gizike goes to the night club as well. She is convinced of the innocence of her husband and forgives him. Thus the idea of divorce is dismissed, what is more, Olgica, the second daughter marries the divorce lawyer, while the youngest one, Mici, is married to baron Suszter Vilmos, whom she accidentally spent a night with in the same room.
