Jósei gorasu

"Yosei Gorasu" is not a film that is completely groundbreaking overall, but I could enjoy the absolutely amazing tricks and the thoughtfulness of certain elements of the plot. The film includes a huge flood, which is presented in a grandiose way, and furthermore, the Earth itself starts to erupt, and visually it looks really great. It is an example of how the Japanese have surpassed most Western creators in terms of tricks. And besides that, it is a truly ingenious solution to the problem. For that, it simply deserves extra points. (20.04.2014)
