In recent years there have been several Czech attempts at a generational statement, but it’s only now that they got it right. I waited until all the episodes of Semester would available at once, because I think it’s the best way to watch a series like this; it helps you overlook the minor shortcomings of the story and focus more on the whole picture. What’s great is the way the main twists and the most important observations happen as if by the way; they are not told, but come out from the other communication interfaces, the likes, the views here and there, etc. It’s a series for a very specific social bubble, but if you belong to it a least partially, you’ll be rewarded.
