inglés I saw three films by Marco Berger six years ago in quick succession, so Taekwondo was a reunion after a relatively long time. In terms of times and space this is a modest and intimate film focusing on multiple characters at once, with most of them being rather fleeting and superficial glimpses into the inner workings of their nature. Taekwondo is a little too talky in places, and a little too quiet in others, but it manages to build the growing sexual tension between Fernando and Germán quite artfully throughout. For the most part, it's a mundane look into the lives of a bunch of guys who like to lounge, drink and party, but that omnipresent yet really subtle romantic line adds to the otherness. In the end, weaker, but still three stars! ()
