The story of Kukahau'ula and Poli'ahu takes place on the tallest mountain in the Pacific Ocean, MaunaKea. In the winter the Goddess Poli'ahu uses her power to blanket Maunakea with snow. Attracted by the Goddesses beauty, Kukahau'ula shines through the harsh conditions to warm the heart of the Goddess. (Hawaii International Film Festival)
