París 1967. Durante el rodaje de su nueva película, el director francés Jean-Luc Godard se enamora de la actriz Anne Wiazemsky, 20 años más joven que él. The film deals with a quite crucial period in the life of the famous French director Jean-Luc Godard when he became politically involved and opinionated, which greatly influenced his future work. It's a drama but spiced up with a certain amount of comic irony that makes the film more digestible for the audience. Moreover, it's not just a one-sided view of Godard; his then-young wife Anne Wiazemsky also gets significant space. The inner commentary of one or the other on the situations adds the necessary pizzazz to the plot, and the married couple Louis Garrel and Stacy Martin are very convincing in their roles. (70%)
