La stoffa dei sogni

A boat carrying a staff of small acting company, together with a group of dangerous members of the mafia-like syndicate the Camorra, wrecks on the shores of the island prison, named Asinara, in the middle of the Mediterranean shortly after WWII. The prison warden finds it is difficult to distinguish the Camorra members from the real actors, so he forces all to put on a play that will reveal the actors and the criminals.
