If it wasn't just a picture "Hotel Noir" in color, it would be quite good, but like this, one simply has to look at it as something that is a copy, a reproduction that color doesn't add much to it. Actually, it doesn't add anything at all, it just reminds me a little more of a comic book than in the black and white version. A strange step.
