Sinopsis(1)
A un convoy americano escoltado por la Legión española le estalla una mina al Norte de Afganistán y el inexperto Teniente Conte (Raúl Mérida) queda al mando de una dotación para proteger a los heridos hasta que los evacuen. La Capitán médico Varela (Ariadna Gil) acude al rescate en un helicóptero medicalizado del Ejército Español, pero el terreno cede durante el aterrizaje y el helicóptero vuelca, dejando a los rescatadores atrapados junto a los legionarios en medio de la nada. El impulsivo Comandante Ledesma (Antonio Garrido) propone un arriesgado plan para rescatarlos a todos y, además, llevarse el aparato siniestrado. Pero con la noche llega el enemigo y el plan sólo será posible si el Teniente y la Capitán logran sobrevivir hasta el amanecer. (Entertainment One Films Spain)

The Spanish have presented the viewer with a very decent premise, which is somewhat confusing just as it tends to be in Spanish movies, but it doesn’t spoil the overall impression. It’s a high-quality war action with amazing shots of military air tech. They also showcased American temperament in a way that felt believable to me. I thought it was great. The final shots proving the story is based on real-life events are also a proof that this film has its rightful place in the genre. I really appreciated the Spanish production. It’s a welcome change from the usual war cinematography.
