Dark, disturbing, yet rich and rewarding, Inheritance tells the story of family secrets and the trauma that we bury deep down. Mara and boyfriend, Aaron, return to her childhood home in beautiful Belize in an attempt to reconnect with her father, but his unexpected death extends their stay. Mara's estranged brother resurfaces, and his intrusive and manipulative behavior suggests to Aaron a dangerous chemistry between the two. (Sidewalk Film Festival)
