The American documentary Unearthed & Untold: The Path to Pet Sematary shows that the original movie became a cult classic, so there is not much to blame its creators and fans for. Pet Sematary is a horror movie that audiences will keep going back to, unlike the 2019 remake, which I think will fade into obscurity quite easily, despite the A-list cast.
