California Dreams

Mike Ott presents an intimate look into the lives of five unique individuals who all possess big Hollywood aspirations but have never had the opportunity to pursue their dreams. Ranging from celebrity impersonators to struggling writers, these aspiring actors are given the chance to play a role as themselves in this film within a film. The ambiguity between what is true and what is fabricated creates a borderline uncomfortable and bitingly funny film that reveals the entrancing hypnotic grip that Hollywood, in some way or form, on everyone.
