As punishment, Matěj the imp must fulfill the wishes of a poor youth, Ondra, until he says he's completely happy. But is such happiness even achievable? Hell has valid doubts. Unlike the disaster that I got from Czech TV for Christmas last year, this year it was a success. Although I found Zdeněk Piškula's face very punchworthy, the fairy tale itself was a nice surprise. I enjoyed the story, even had a few laughs (surprisingly in the moments intended for laughs), and the film made for a relaxing evening, so I was satisfied.

New fairy tales just don't have the right charm and it doesn't matter how many well-known or unknown good-looking characters appear in them. The princesses are boring, and the only people who do a good job are the acting matadors, who simply cannot disappoint and single-handedly do what is needed. However, if the story doesn't resonate, then it doesn't matter.
