Tomo o okuru uta

Yoshio (Kazuo Funaki) and Genichi were best friends. They grew up together in a small town in Hokkaido, surrounded by mountains. Their dream was to work on a big ship and travel around the world together. As soon as they graduated high school, they both tried talking their parents into letting them go to Yokohama to become sailors. But only Genichi was successful. Two years later when the two finally reunite, Yoshio realizes that his friend is not the same person he used to be. (Nikkatsu)
