Sinopsis(1)
Ambientada en el húmedo y caluroso Mississippi, narra la historia de Archie Lee, un hombre maduro que se ha casado con Doll Meighan, una joven de 17 años, y por tanto menor de edad, a cuyo padre, un rico terrateniente, ha prometido respetarla hasta que Doll cumpla la mayoría de edad.

A very controversial film in its time, and to be honest, there is little to be surprised about. In one scene, there is a great leading actress only covered with a towel! But it's not just about that; it's also about her poses, which are truly sexy even for our time. It slightly resembles Lolita in some aspects, but above all, it shows how a man is capable of essentially going mad for a woman.
