Humbug

Scarlet, a moody goth girl, is fervently sketching a decapitated Santa when she is interrupted by her neighbor's incessant Christmas music. Scarlet confronts Betty, her jolly neighbor, and voices her loathing of all things Christmas. Feeling it's her duty to show Scarlet the joy of the season, Betty takes Scarlet hostage. Trapped in a demented winter wonderland, Betty teaches Scarlet about what is holding her back from embracing this merriest of holidays. She contends that Scarlet is sick, and to "cure" her will require some very tough love. Betty is determined that Scarlet will soon feel the power of Christmas...even if she has to pull it out of her by force! (Nashville Film Festival)
