En el fragor del movimiento de liberación de Córcega, la clandestinidad alberga peligrosos juegos en los que el terrorismo y la mafia se tocan, en una lucha independentista sin cuartel. En este clima, Stéphane recala en París, huyendo de su pasado en estas lides. A raíz de la muerte de un antiguo compañero, recuerda cómo pasó en los noventa de ser un joven de clase media con aspiraciones a radicalizarse y a tornar su vida en una continua persecución. Y se enfrenta así a la decisión de si acudir o no al funeral, un dilema que puede costarle la vida. (Seville European Film Festival)

This movie was very much a personal confession for the director. It’s a pity, though, that he didn’t realize while filming that only Corsicans know what is happening in Corsica and so I watched the events in the movie with wonderment but didn’t understand them at all. On one side there was the mafia, on the other the revolutionaries for the freedom of Corsica, and together they held pointless debates that made me want to slit my wrist in protest so that I could show what I thought about the whole movie. The only positive moments were the action sequences, which were short, intense, and created an unbelievable potential that, however, was buried by the rest of the film.
