inglés Traditional representative of the "Wild XY" BBC documentary series. This time mainly about the clash, intermingling and coexistence of wildlife with civilization on Japanese islands, forests, mountains, cities, ocean. From wild sika deers in the center of Nara city to life at the foot of an active volcano, where stones fall from the sky on everyday basis and every few weeks the city is covered the ashes. Breathtaking audiovisuals are a matter of course for the BBC, many shots are unique as expected, and the information benefits are immeasurable. However, there are two problems. This series is strictly limited to three episodes in recent years, but Japan would clearly need more episodes. This ways, everything in Japan is portrayed only very briefly and quickly but many topics would deserve significantly more space than only five-minute sequence. The second problem are Michelle Dockery's comments. It´s not the content of the commentary, which is well-written, but the voice-over, which is annoyingly monotonous. It´s rather surprising because the BBC usually pays a lot of attention to this. ()
