Due soldati

The outskirts of Naples. Young men and women have two choices. Like Salvatore, they can go with the system and become criminals. Or, like Enzo, they can look for an honest job and end up in the army, being sent on a mission in a highly dangerous territory. And then there's Maria, who is planning her wedding to Enzo, the boy she loves and who represents the opportunity to change her life for the better. The three young people react differently to the same challenges of survival, each on a different front line where everyone is a soldier. Things change, however, when fate brings Maria and Salvatore together... (Locarno Festival)
