Sinopsis(1)

The 21st century has already witnessed several waves of right wing extremism. One of the first was headed by Jörg Haider, the leader of the Austrian Freedom Party (FPÖ). Haider died in a car accident in 2008, while returning from a night club and driving under the influence of alcohol. Haider learned his conservative values early on from his parents, who were proud members of the national socialist party. The promising young politician built his career in a very bold and determinant way. He didn't shy away from conflicts and controversies and was selected to the Austrian parliament as the youngest member. By 1990's Haider was leading a group of like-minded members of the political elite. They touted a nationalistic agenda, but also made questionable deals with colonel Gaddafi, the authoritarian leader of Libya.
