How nice it is when you have the German version. How can Antonín Novotný compete with the likable and singing Hans Söhnker? There's no comparison there at all. It would certainly be interesting to know whether Anny herself saw Věra in her role, who became her second successor in the Prague studios after Truda Grosslichtová (and vice versa, of course).
